Hello there! My name is Alejandra Ruiz. I'm an illustrator and visual story teller based in Bogotá, Colombia. My work celebrates day-to-day moments, emotions, details, and everything that you have to do with animals and feeling peaceful. I also adore illustrating elements of Colombian culture, since I truly believe we have a lot to tell and a lot to show, as well! I love telling stories through my illustrations, that's why I rarely work without a character or a specific narrative. hello.thorinds@gmail.com @thorinds Some of the amazing folks I’ve worked with: House of Memory Nariño Secretary of Post-Conflict and Culture of Peace of the City Hall of Cúcuta Cooltura Children's Magazine Editorial Ilona Books Monkey Hide Bags Biocare Colombia We are Jungle and Sea More Compost Less Garbage Press & interviews: "True friendship seeks to annul guilt" - Magazin Cultural El Espectador Why look outside for what lives inside? | Alejandra Ruiz | TEDxYouth@Usaquén T.1.
